Elections 138 AD

Postby JayMichaelBecker on Mon Jul 13, 2009 11:31 pm

Consular:

Maximus Decius Agrippa (PC controlled NPC)

Tullius Cicero Julianus (PC controlled NPC)

Senator:

Bassus Maximinus; Grandson of Senator Postumus Maximinus. Uncles and brothers hold magisterial posts around the empire.

Vespius Constantius Aemilianus (PC controlled NPC); Brother of Senator Vespius Hostilius Aemilianus.

Raeus Commodus Vitellius (PC controlled NPC); Second son of late Imperator Calidus Raeus Vitellius.

Fortunus Hadrius Vitellius; Grandson of Divus Persicus.

Decius Crodus Agrippa; Eldest son of Senator Maximus Decius Agrippa.

Manius Vibenius Decentius (PC controlled NPC); Former solder of Legio II Ursus Hispanoricum and Praetorian Guard.

Aedile:

Telvitius Deciminus Claviticus; Brother of Senator Severus Claviticus, sons of esteemed Praetorian Senator Telvitius Claviticus. Success found him as a lawyer in Ravenna.

Scravus Scipio Marcellus; Ally of the Sarii Vitelli, most recently known to have been working with the remaining Sarii Agrippi of Sicilia, most notably Vitellius Sarius Agrippa of Moesian-rebel notoriety.

Vitus Delo; Great-grandson of famously traditionalist Consular Flavius Delo. Vitus held posts as fiscal Quaestor of Campania under his great-grandfather for a few years before his death, and then went on to private life before being prompted into politics by what he feels is, “...a gross attack on Latin sensibilities by allowing barely-legal citizens join the ancient rank of Senator.”

Castus Ispius; Grandson of Consular Crassus Cassius Ispius, great-nephew of late Consul- Princeps Senatus Crassus Rimilius Ispius. Follows in his great-Uncle’s pragmatic footsteps.

Praetors:

Antonius Laurentius Accarus; Economic Office Procurator, nephew of Consul Pontus Rufinus Accarus.

Raeus Commodus Vitellius (PC controlled NPC); Second son of late Imperator Calidus Raeus Vitellius.

Titus Arcadius Vitellius; Son of Proconsular Legate Lucius Titus Vitellius, Conservative/provincialist, served one term as Aedile.

Tiberius Romulus Castus (PC controlled NPC)

Augustus Julius Dio (PC controlled NPC); Brother of Emperor Augustus Maximus Dio.

*Wiki section on Praetors has been updated.

Appointees by the Comitia:

Fifteen new Senators of the following distribution: Five from Castra Regina, Rhaetia; Five from Lugdunum, Gallia Lugdunesis; Two from Tiberium Treverorum, Belgica; Three from Thracia. The growing weight of provincialists versus traditional optimate-led Senatores has tipped in provincialist favor, though influence and power still rests within the Senate groups comprised of noble patricians and plebeians, meaning there is effectively a balance of power within the Senate- for the time being.
Ferus Juventas, Everything GM

Decius Cassius Agrippa, Tullius Quinus Vitellius, Quinus Lucius Vitellius, Lucius Tacitus Vitellius
