I am Antonius Decius Verus of the VI Fortuna Caram Legion. I have not been in the legion for long, but already in cold north of Germania my bones grow weary from lack of "excitement". I hear some of the other legions to the east and to the south are campaigning currently, and I would like to ask if our legate, or our most esteemed Imperator could assign a campaign to our legion. Myself and my fellow legionnaires would greatly appreciate this gesture.

yeah you missed the northern war. maybe about.. 6 to 10 years ago in-character, so trust me, your legion wouldnt want to be going to war now. raiding, prehaps... but war not likely.

basicly, make sure any players above you in rank know you are there, and active.

this would include legates in your region, not just your legions legate, the PcL you are under, and maybe a GM or two to be safe.

I know Phil handles northern military matters, not sure who is western, eastern or southern.

I don't handle Northern Affairs... James does...

...but for the record... I am one of the two Senior GM's... so my knowledge and expertise is expansive.

Currently I'm playing an NPC and so don't have any GM power over decisions or actions, (wouldn't be fair if I did)...

But regardless... there was a massive Gothic/Germanic War in 125/6AD.

You just missed it. And your legion... in particular... was nearly destroyed. So... I would try and read up on recent scenarios or check the legion history pages in the wiki. The recent things are listed for sure.

And, if you want military action that badly, you might consider asking for a transfer to an Eastern legion, rumor has it a war is on the horizon there.

this is the most interesting game i have every played. i mean its really super, but really complex. does anyone know in real time when the next election is coming up?

All depends on how many pauses we have between now and then. And with a war LIKELY brewing in the east, I expect a lot of pauses over hte next 2 weeks
