I rather appreciate his obsession with latin. Its the closest I've ever come to actual latin lessons. And latin, along with german, are the two languages I want to learn. (after 9 years of government forced french lessons... I wanna learn a language I like)

| I had forced Latin, German, and French lessons at school. My Latin teacher was very vigilant about Latin grammar. He was an earful until the day the entire class got 100% in his test. That shut him up.

its not that the entire class getting 100 shut him up.. its simply that is the outcome he wanted.
still.. here in canada... 9 years of forced french (I remember none of it).. and german and latin are hard, if even possible, to find access to via education systems. it sucks

Welcome... though you don't have to be very formal here in the OOC forums.
I would suggest contacting your PCL, Daratius Antonius Terpus, on ICQ and letting him know you are active. If you can't get a hold of him though and wish to be active so you can advance yourself, you can go over his head, (again if he's uber busy and or you can't contact him), and talk to the Magister of the West... which incidently is me. So, just add all the GM's to your ICQ and then the top players and start getting a feel for things.

| Hello, ok so I joined the game a few months ago but I absolutely can not figure out how to do anything. I am really excited to do this because I have loved roman history my whole life but I don't know what to do can anyone help?

Well ask others on ICQ... that's how you learn. You can get numbers from people's PC pages on the Aventine... just click on a name and it will list it.

I find that VERY hard to believe...
What timezone are you in? Because you can usually find people from 1200-0000 US Eastern Time.
And you have not sent me a request... otherwise I would have accepted.

Well when you sent me a request it said your RL name... not "Roman Legion"...
Just... come onto ICQ sometime and get one of us and we'll walk you through things.

Oh yes it used to be eagle2160 but now I changed it to my RL name, I am extremly busy I can only be on from 7pm-9pm US Eastern time, I know I will be on from 8pm-9pm tomorrow, I know that is a small time slot and if nobody is available I will understand, Saturday I should be on anytime after noon US Eastern Time though, I might have plan changes so who knows, it's hectic right now.
I appreciate the help though
