Emperor Lucius Tacitus Vitellius, with the Comitia Centuriata and the support of many other Senatores, has appointed Pompeius Germanicus Varro and the forty-three surviving members of the original Praetorian Guard (pre- tri-civil wars) to the Senate, as reward for their outstanding lifetime of service and stout loyalty to Rome. Germanicus Varro is the second son of Emperor Divus Rufus Pompeius Varro and elder brother of Emperor Pompeius Septimus Varro; the forty-three surviving members have fought in every land in the empire, under the command of every Emperor in various lengths of servive since Rufus Pompeius Varro, making them the most veteran and elite unit of soldiers in the empire.
