What do we do now

I have been away from the game for a little while but now I see a new NB and possibly a new game about to start.

Being new before I am still new to the game could someone tell me what i have to do now to get back involved in this ?

I really would like to get back involved with this game can someone please give me a few pointers on how to get started again ?
