A muslim extremist is just as bad as a christian extremist. Hell, take a look at Northern Ireland, where its one type of chrsitian killing another type, simple because of what kind of christian they are.
Christians, Jews, and Muslims all worship the same One God. End of story. The simplest difference between the religions is simply how they worship, and what they use to worship. The texts differ, the methods differ, but in the end, it is all the same god, all three religions worshiping the God of Abraham. God, among all 3 faiths, can forgive anyone. Christians (and the branch of Jewish belief that acknowledges Jesus) beleive that he forgave ANYONE who was willing to show repentance, never actualy tried to convert anyone. His message was to forgive each other, and live a good, decent life by the simplest morals of all. And yet fundamentalists today among all 3 faiths refuse to forgive each other, refuse to let each other exist and instead practice a philosophy of "my way, or you are gonna die". I guess fundamentalists know better than the G/god they are professing to worship.
YAY for more random rambling. lol _________________ Presently: Tiberius Lucius Carus

Religion & Politics - I agree - nothing to do with each other...
As for the comments about Obama - I can only strongly disagree - whilst I agree he shouldn't be the next President, that's because of a severe lack of experience (and next to none in foreign policy bar the Afghan thing)... Not due to any muslim leanings...
Hillary could be good for this country, whereas Huckabee scares the crap out of me.
As for McCain, I had the pleasure of meeting him for a few minutes last year. A charming man, who comes across very well. And wants to do the right thing and finish what you've started in Iraq. I'm not a Republican by heart (the British political system is so far to the left of America's that the British right barely touches the American left), but that'd be my vote if I was a voting man... _________________ Calidus Raeus Vitellius

| Im not saying anything to an extremest effect im merely stating that McCain is the lesser of all evils. Although I feel that presidency in America isnt about bettering your country any longer but about bettering yourself as seems to be a contunous trend in both parties.

Lok1, your accusation in this statement is quite explicit:
| Quote: |
| If you decide to elect Obama your welcoming a Muslim extremest to run the country |
Now if you wish to retract that comment, or describe it as a joke, feel free to do so.
All informed, intelligent people know that Obama is neither an extremist nor a Muslim.
I should add that your nutty statement also includes a grammatical mistake. You should have used "you're" (contraction for "you are") instead of "your."
Anyway, I usually avoid these threads. I only decided to comment because blatant misinformation (about any public figure, agency, corporation, etc.) irritates me. _________________ Jupiter Optimus Maximus - John

It is indeed sad, however, that such a whisper campaign is being perpetuated to make people think he's an Islamic extremist.
I must say, however, I've never heard the meth thing. I didn't even know he had done meth. So, that is probably incorrect? He admitted to doing cocaine, but whatever. At least it was a high brow drug.
